You are my reef keeping hero Ron! I've seen a lot of reef tanks over the years. You are one of those guys that is able to keep ahead of the issues a reef tank can throw at you and come out on top. Your ability to keep long term healthy reef aquarium is admirable. Always impressed!
Wow. Awesome tank!

Dude....you are too kind. You are correct about this hobby for sure, IT.....the reefing hobby, can throw a lot of things at us! The hobby teaches us many things but a couple that come to mind is tenacity & patience. Thanks for the kind words Josh. Stop by anytime, would love to catch up sometime soon. Take care!
Ron
I finally went through your build, Wow what a great tank, I love the dimensions, that is the size of a tank that I need. When I saw the picture of the stand WOW it was beautiful, adjourned with a Giesemann light. Trifecta
Thanks Jim. Yeah, I love the dimensions as well, the 30” depth with the 27” is perfect in my opinion. Crystal Dynamic Aquariums did both the stand & the aquarium. The stand is steel wrapped with a nice wood & finished with a two tone finish. Here’s a recent photo.

I would daydream for hours on that Goliath lol. I'd never get anything done! It's a total work of beauty.
Definitely the best reef in SD that I’ve seen. What’s your choice of husbandry and maintenance, such as h20 changes or not? Triton method, aqua forest, or Red Sea program? Trace elements other than calcium reactor?
