      The photo of the blue sponge you posted is Non Photosynthetic.

      and yea that one may be photo synth too. I have a little. SDcorals had a bit. it. it might be a keeper though. ASk Chris.
      FWIW i Nuked my tank a bit with it.was rushing Put it in the sump in too low flow low low light. it died. BUMMER>>>>
      some is growing back though.
