      Cerium Oxide

Anybody have any luck removing scratches from glass using Cerium Oxide? So far my attempt has been futile so I am hoping someone has some advice. Does anybody use fine grit sandpaper first? I am using a drill and hard felt small wheel. Maybe I should use a dremel? Thanks for any help.

deeper scratches are HARD. Cerium is a polish, you need to find different grits

So I'm guessing I should start with something more coarse obviously, although I don't know if it should be a sandpaper or something similar to an electroplated diamond disk?

Just did some more research and it seems as though getting a deep scratch out isn't going to happen. The best/easiest thing to do is going to be replacing the panel. I am gonna try a diamond bit on a dremel, but I don't really have a lot of hope for it. I'll post if it works, though I think it's gonna be a waste of time.

A lot of little scratches which really aren't a big deal, and one deep gouge I can catch my nail on around 8 inches long.
