      Seahorse 60 cube sump

      Just finished makeing a seahorse chamber 60g cube mod with 4 chambers behind it for my sump for my 120 starphire rimless build.
      This is a pic in the process of making the baffles section



      This is when it was done no pluming



      Done with some pluming



      Let me know what you think I'm almost ready to get water in this thing I'll add som pics of the tank as well. All o have now is a pic of when I painted the back



      Installed my power stations this weekend here's a pic of drilling holes in stand


      Me hand tapping the holes for 10-32 stainless steele button head screws

      And here is the finished product installed


      Building a housing for all my controllers here's a progress pic without the cover


      Here's a pic with the cover on it the top spot that is empty is for vertex libra dosing unit

      very nice!! yeah, post some pics of when its together and running. I never thought of having seahorses in the sump but have been wanting to get some. good idea

      Looks great.. Only thing is add is that ponies are not really equipped to deal with reef temps. To avoid bacterial infections tge should be kept below 75 minimum if its long term. Optimally around 70* really. Can you plumb it w a chiller and closed loop? I'm happy to help if you have questions.. Keeping them on and off for 12 years.. Here is my current setup

      Ya I know about the temp requirements I don't want to run them on a closed loop would defeat the purpose of haveing in sump. I'll just set my chiller to 76 they will be fine and if not I'll have to put something else there but I am going to try regardless.

      Ya they will make any size you want I got it made threw will at aqua sd

      I did everything myself cost me about $300 because powder coat was about $130 and I used 1/8 wall 2 inch square tube
