      I use Melafix, the bacterial stuff. 5 ml per 1 liter, 7 min dip.Some agitation. Kills about anything on the coral and is very well tolerated, better that other dips IMO.

      have you ever dealt with red bugs using this mixture and had sucess?

      It kills red bugs on new arrivals, but not their eggs. It's best to treat the whole system with Interceptor 3 times 5-7 days in between. Repeat a couple of times per year if trading a lot with corals. Red bugs are persistent. Interceptor will kill crabs and shrimp. But I have had hermits survive. I try to pick out all hermits I can find prior to treatment. Put them in a bowl with an airstone and they will be fine until the treatment is over.

      @jschnepf had a great thread and write up on his treatment. Step by step. Got lost on the last site crash I think.
