Scripps Water - No more hose

Hey folks,

Found out this morning that you'll need to bring your own hose if you want to get water from Scripps. If you guys know the measurements or what size hose to get, please post it here.
( im assuming a regular garden hose size would fit, but I'd rather confirm with everyone first.)

(thats me leaving scripps with no water this morning. haha)

dang, if I just need 2 buckets can I hold em up to the faucet? I know the water pressure is pretty high, maybe that wouldn't work

Did they say they don't want a house left there anymore or is it that they don't want to supply it. I'll go buy one this afternoon to leave there if it is just that it was stolen.

I remember multiple flyers saying " We will no longer furnish a hose for saltwater.." (should have taken a picture)

I've done a couple Scripps runs in the last week. Last weekend the hose was in bad shape (as previously mentioned by another reefer in the main thread) so when I went on Monday I brought a hose to contribute but there was already a replacement there... I wonder if it got jacked?!?

But seriously folks, coil and hang the hose out of the drive. Free water deserves our highest respect for their property!
The hose is a community PIF donation of the highest order. Getting free water and then driving over the hose as one leaves is not cool at all.

What really sucks is people/business getting free water and selling it. They have been discussing this for a while now and could end up capping it all together. I don't know about you but I like free NSW

i was there the other night and saw the signs. luckily i only use 5 gallon containers so i was able to put it near the faucet, turn it on to a low/medium level and the water can just flow in. no need to hold the containers or anything like that.

Doh. I think the spigot is threaded so we can maybe bring a standard garden hose? Looks like we all have to carry it just in case they remove one leave???

IS THE HOSE BROKEN OR THEY TOOK IT DOWN BECAUSE TOO MANY PEOPLES USING THE HOSE.
CAN WE GET THIS HOSE FROM HOME DEPOT AND USE IT, LEAVE IT?
