I hope I'm posting this in the right spot, I have seen something similar before, but I was wondering if anyone wanted to do a little competition using a jbj 3gal picotope. We can just make one build thread where we all post updates and such, they sell for about $60 most places and comes with a rimless 3 gal tank, filter and light.

The winner would just get bragging rights I guess unless someone knows how to find a sponsor to donate a prize lol. The rules would be something like:
-You must use every piece of the kit (filter light and tank)
-we would all add water the same day or weekend or whatever, just to keep us all on the same time line
-you can modify the tank (drill it or ext overflow) to add a sump but no sumps larger than a standard 10 gal Petco tank (can be smaller)
-you can modify the light (swap out the compact fluorescent for leds) as long as you use the same housing (no different fixtures)
-you can modify the filter as well but it must remain on the tank it's self (not in the sump lol)
-figured after 6 months we can hold a vote do decide who has the sharpest pico
If anyone has any ideas let's put them together and make this fun lol plus mabye the SD pico community can share there knowledge and show there skills.
Anyway, I'm probably going to buy one anyway just because it's a sharp looking pico. But if we get enough people interested mabye jbj will do a group buy price or something.
