Been using MeCoral Wash with great success! Mostly made from essential oils, it's like corals get a cleansing spa treatment vs chemical bombing which I imagine makes them happier and acclimates quicker. Trying out their Amino Polyp Extender later today; like the fact it doesn't increase phosphates like most other amino supplements!
I switched from aqua vitro fuel to ME amino polyp xtender and I haven't been all that impressed with it. Dosing 7 1/2 ml every other day for around 3 months. I am now going to start dosing ME and fuel alternating every other day.
I have seen mixed reviews about me
Update: dosed 4.5ml for my 90gal (actual water volume 89gallons) today, watched for the next 30minutes, no polyp extension that I noticed. That changed once I target fed chopped clam. Everyone woke up then! Will try again on a different day, perhaps in the morning when I usually feed, then perhaps adjust the quantity being added; though MeCoral recommends 5ml per 100gallons. Anyone else have reviews to add?
I'm about to be out of bionic. Trying to find more threads on this stuff. Anyone make the switch from esv to me? I'd love to hear your experience.
Just picked up a bottle of ME Polyp extender, smells alot like vinegar, and no noticeable polyp extension etc..., but with any new items being dosed, I need to give it some time to see how the corals react. If I don't see any positive results within the next few weeks, then I will go back to the tried and true Seachem Reef Plus.
