      DIY fish trap. It works!!!

Here's a simple to make fish trap that works pretty good, well at least for me. LOL. Most of this stuff is misc things that you probably already have.

      - Kritter keeper container (Depending on size $5-10) You probably have one from the goldfish you won at the fair
      - Tunze magnet or anytype of aquarium magnet or suction cups for mounting. Recommend a magnet so it will be easier to adjust the position of the trap if need be.
      - Fishing line
      - Fishing egg sinker

Basically drilled some holes so I could zip tie the tunze magnet mount. Another on top of the trap so I could fit the tip of a food baster for squirting food. Last hole drilled on the door flap so I could tie fishing line. I use an egg sinker to add a bit of weight to the door, so the trap stays open. If not, the door flutters in the current.

Lol yea another use for these containers...if you get the bigger ones you can use as an acclimation box....I've done this in the past with some tangs and helped deter aggression...

      Cheap alternative for sure!
