Help! Blue hippo tang turning white

As some of you guys know I had a ich outbreak from an Achilles tang I bought. Earlier today I moved my blue hippo tang into a hospital tank that I transfered water from my main tank and I dosed copper. He was fine all day and now I went to look at it he looks pale/white and is in a corner. Should I move him back into my main tank?

I need some help, because I just moved my purple tang in there too.

Hospital tank is 60 gallon 48"wide and about 18" deep

Never mind, I just went to look at him after I put my purple tang in and he's fine playing around with the purple tang.

Thanks guys, alright finally the four that I have left I have in the hospital tank. Only my blue hippo and my purple have it, but I have all 4 of my fishes in there. I had sold everything else except my blonde naso (my favorite) and my hippo purple and one clown were at my friends ginnueguys house. So when I brought them in they were clean, but my tank is infected, so they caught it.

Anyways long story short all 4 are in the qt tank, they are eating fine and moving around great. I will be doing 20% weekly water changes, and just feeding well.

Now I need more fish! Lol. They will be in the qt system as well

Oh also just curious in my qt tank, all I'm running is a bag of carbon and a good flow from the back overflow and Powerhead. Do I need anything else? I have bio balls tbat i can put or even a skimmer?

Im a newbie so take it for whats its worth, but I did read alot about QT's. I have 4-5 of them running now. LOL.

Anyway, I thought I read somewhere that you shouldnt run carbon while treating with copper since carbon would remove copper. I guess if youre testing your copper levels and its right, then it doesnt matter.

Remove the carbon as it is pretty much absorbing the cupramine
And make sure you only dose cupramine in the tank some mixtures of meds can turn into a poison basically.

No only things that would be ok to run is powerheads, heater (if needed lol) something to keep aeration good and if you are running a skimmer on it that's fine but not needed lights during qt are not required if 6ou o you can run them dim

What about bioballs? Should those by fine to run in it while dosing cupramine? The tanks filteration is in the back. There are two open spots for bio balls that I can put in there.

From my research (not experience), I dont think bioballs will affect it since they dont absorb copper.

I think the key is that you test your copper levels and to make sure copper stays at the desired level for 2 weeks. Then slowly bring it down to 0 after that.
I read this at ReefCentral. I can find the link for you later.

Someone correct me if Im wrong though.
