Spider 36x28x17 Crystal dynamic shallow Tank

Back again with yet another upgrade.I swear I can never make up my mind. I spent a long time searching the boards for the perfect dims that are shallow since I'm a huge fan of them. So after being unsuccessful with the hunt I decided to go custom and I contacted Crystal dynamics and I know they had a few bad reviews so I wanted to give them the chance to redeem them selves. I told them that I will be blasting the build out everywhere so the quality of the tank has to be top notch so they agreed to take the tank and build it. I can say that this company has been nothing but amazing to work with and there customer service is amazing. I speak to them daily on Facebook about the tank and they give me updates and the process it's in. So enough with the talking and unto the important thing the build!!!

This tank will hopefully be a mixed reef as I Want to start collecting sps but my main passion is zoas!! Also very excited about the new options I'll have with more room.

      •Crystal dynamics 36x28x17 starphire
      •Synergy ghost overflow
      •Nyos 120 skimmer
      •Trigger system sump 40x24x15 (beast)
      •Mp40 or 2 mp10 haven't decided yet
      •8 bulb Ati w/reefbrites
      •Sicce 5.0 return pump

Here are a few pics until everything comes together

pretty cool my dude, I like the look of shallower wider tanks because you can see more seascape and sea floor

What's the gallons on the tank. Sounds like it's gonna be pretty sweet. Might want to take it off your hands if you change your mind about it

Following. Nice to hear some good words about Crystal Dynamics. Was considering them for my future build until those bad reviews. Maybe your tank will show that they do quality work and that steps have been taken to assure a happy customer. Sounds like you're pleased with their communication. Maybe they will get my business. Are they ordering and installing the ghost overflow for you?
      150g glass w/ corner overflow , 60g sump w/refugium, Eheim 1262 return, SRO 2000int skimmer, ATI Dimmable Sunpower 8x54w fixture, 2 Tunze 6105 and 2 tunze 6025 modded.

      Wow!

There's nothing wrong with enjoying looking at the surface of the ocean itself, except that when you finally see what goes on underwater, you realize that you've been missing the whole point of the ocean. Staying on the surface all the time is like going to the circus and staring at the outside.
