Are these snails good for my tank?

I found these at the beach are they good or will they do something bad? Besides bacteria and all that, I just mean the snails themselves

Lol. I'm not sure about adding wild snails from the ocean to a heated tank

Maybe acclimate them in a seperate container and see how they react also only concerns I could think of would be parasites and so on but that's possible with store bought as well so I will tag along to see the outcome


Also get a positive I'd on them .

do you think they could carry disease or something harmful? they seem fine now and regularly stay out of the water on warm rocks or hot tide pools so I think they would be fine, I just don't want to ruin my fish tank...

they are pretty active I put them in a bowl of salt water and they are in piles eating algae off each others shells, or mating or fighting. but it looks like they're eating.

haha there are these snails, mussels, and crabs all over any rocky shore shelter island harbor island all around the bay and on jetty etc
