Free Stomatella snails. I have lots. prob 5 per person for 5 people.
Cool unique snail.
Great clean up crew. Has not eaten my corals or Macro Algae. They May be tasty to crabs. and snails. Thats how I keep my population down.


I accidentally figured out how to make stomatella snails spawn, so I have a lot of white, grey, brown/white stoma's in my tanks. Not giving away the blacks or golds yet.

I have to get them out the night before when they're on the glass.

Wouldn't turn down a frag, a dark beer, or conversation.

I'll be building a new sump and honey dos the next couple days.

Are the stomatella snails safe in reef tank?
Recently saw some spawning in my tank.

They are safe and great additions

Accident really. Blowing off the rocks with a baster, then used a powerhead to get into the nooks of one of by big rocks. then one of the stomas spit like a little volcano. then another one and another one all across the tank. Tried it again with the same results.
Maybe something about the "storm" flow?
The crabs eat the heck out of them. Caught my Pom Pom crab eating one of my gold ones.
I did the same experiment in my 28g and have no crabs in there, so now I have about 30 or 40 that come out at night on the glass.

I might take some my large germs went to town on Nassarius cerith and stromatella still have some but want to repop in my nano
