Love it. Wish i could do a minimal rockwork setup, but i'm more invested in packing the corals in instead of giving the fish a nice environment...

Thank you, yeah I'm trying to do something different from what I usually do this time, and dropping down to a 120g makes me want to allow more swim space.
Dave,
What problems is the new skimmer giving you?
I am about to purchases one.

Dave, your canopy makes the tank look "blah." I'll do you the favor and take it off your hands. It's really for your best interest.
Looks good Dave. What are your plans for type of fish?
Hey Rudy, well the main focus on this tank will of course be a nice pair of clowns, percula's of some kind, and most likely a pair of picasso's, and I have my rock placed to be ready for a magnifica for them high up on the left.
Anthias, lyretails mainly, chromis, a mandarin, and hopefully a two spot bristletooth if I can find one.
Tailspot blenny is also a must have.
That will probably make a nice stock list right there.
I want a nice size harem of anthias
Nice stock list!
Any reason you did not go with the Q3 on your tank? I'm leaning towards that one myself, or do you think it's over kill?
Also you sent your Q2 in? Are they fixing the bubble plate or you going with a different skimmer now?

The plate was the main issue for most, but mine also had a sloppy seam at taper(heard some leak) and a bad pump.
The rep made a blanket statement they are defective and anyone can return them...except me, because I was first to buy one and 8 days past returns.
Luckily for me I bought through marine depot, they handled it(marine depot rocks!)
I don't judge for making mistakes, it's how they handle it that matters, aquamaxx lost me, going w/ what I know works.
I like it. Looks good dave, awesome woodwork.

Thanks Rudy, it looks even better w/ my first corals placed!
Thanks again, found perfect spots for those.
OK, so my very first corals in tank thanks to Rudyg308
Back to what I know works, got my old skimmer back from Momrocks999
And something new I saw someone make on another site, it's called a chaeto and eggcrate sandwich, makes for easy placement, easy trim, put it exactly where you want it, keeps fuge area organized, and most importantly helps provide pods.
Looking good dave. Great little diy id3a for the chaeto.

Thanks Rudy, a guy on another site, SN Rjramos posted this, his DIY idea, thought it was a neat way to keep things clean and organized in sump/fuge area.
