i say get a sohal instead...much hardier...i have yet to keep a clown tang for more then a few months...they just stop eating and die...IME.

They often times get internal parasites, plus to feed one u need to pollute your tank like crazy. They are extremely active, pacing non stop. Which equates to high caloric need.
I have an 11' long 325g, which is longer than most people have, yet I wouldn't get one due to lack of space. In a couple weeks I will start a. 150"x32x40" tank, and I still will not get a sohal, or clown. It's not fair to them

I have a Sohal in a 400g 8ft long and he's doing great...fat as fawk....but for some reason doesn't swim much...my purple tang swims back and forth more then any other fish in the tank lol...
