Should I clean this, and if so, can I just fill the back chamber with vinegar?

My new nano cube had some tube coral growing around in the back area. If I buy a gallon of vinegar and fill up that chamber and add a little water so it's totally full, and let it dissolve all of the coral, is that gonna mess anything up? I don't think the vinegar will hurt anything but the coral right?

Scrape it with scraper but gently I use vinegar bath along with plastic putty knife

I tried scraping what I could reach, the hardest part is the bottom center underneath the intake chamber or whatever it is called, where the media basket would go. I will fill it up with vinegar tonight after work.

Yea reach down there with and extension piece and scrub it the best you can
