ID help - what kind of pods am I dealing with?

These guys seem harmless, but I was reading up on pods and noticed that maybe they're the bad kind of isopod? I don't think so but if anyone has any input that would be great.

They're maybe about a 1/4" at their biggest, I can't really tell how many legs or anything, and they have like a brown back. Here are some pics but they're not the best. Thanks!

Looks like run of the mill amphipods. Overall beneficial, although I've seen them attacking smaller pods. But definitely not a worry to fish/inverts.

Some of the larger isopods are pretty cool - I have some that unfurl these mantis-like claws and fight. Glad they're only 1/8"!

+1, looks like standard amphipods. I probably have millions in my small tank. Last time I dipped a couple frags that looks completely clean a ton of them floated to the top.
