Well, I hoped that I would never find myself in the position of having to post one of these threads but after yesterdays events I feel that I have too. On the 30th of June kayakNCSD posted a thread about wanting an ATO. I replied and told him that I had an single float ATO from autotopoff.com. He replied back with his cell and I text him shortly after. Communication between the two of us was great, we agreed upon a price and I agreed to meet him halfway for a little extra. I gave him the address of a service station that was almost exactly halfway between us and he agreed to meet there. On Thursday I texted him asking if he would be able to meet Friday at 12pm and he replied back that due to a prior engagement that he would not be able to make that time but asked if I would be able to meet at 1pm. I agreed to the 1PM meet time on Friday. Well Friday comes around and I text him at 12:09pm saying that I was leaving my house in about 15 minutes, he didn't reply but I didn't think anything of it since the communication had previously been great between that two of us and it was actually his time that he wanted to meet. I arrive at the service station and text him at 1:02pm that I was there. I text again at 1:35pm stating that I was going to wait another 15 minutes and then I was going to leave. At 1:49pm I text him again saying that I was leaving. This whole day really sucked because I wasted 2 hours of my day off with my family and gas because I was trying to do someone a favor for a ATO with a Maxi-jet 400 for only $30. Here it is the next day over 24hrs later and I have yet to receive a text or anything from him. I guess from this point on I am going to require a paypal deposit before I agree to meet anyone ever again.
