How does everyone feel about making the first resurrection meeting the last saturday of this month, the 25th of July, sometime between noon and 6pm? I am just tossing a date and time out there, so speak up if you have an objection. I have a number of people and shops that have offered to host the event so that shouldn't be a problem. Toss some ideas out for topics too, or if we want to make the first meeting just a meet and greet frag swap deal I am totally open to that.

Sounds good, how about water testing for a topic? Would like to get feedback on anyone who's used triton testing...

I can bring some kits if need be. Also have pumps/heaters for frag tank.

Good idea John, if you are bringing regular test kits ( salifert etc...) I can bring hanna checkers for some comparison.

I had one of those, easy to do but i prefer the red sea one next time you buy. We'll show you how its done though...

I like the idea of water chemistry in general for a topic and how to test and make sure it is correct. I didn't pick a location yet, I am still trying to judge how many people are going to attend. By the response So far I've got a mental count of about 20. I'll pick a location this weekend and let everyone know.

Been a little busy with work this week, but wanted to bump this thread back up. I am going to send out a group text tomorrow to the members that have contacted me and said they wanted to help organize. I think the planned date and topic is a go, only one person has said they wouldn't be able to make that day, but that is inevitable. I am still narrowing down time and location for the event but should have that figured out in the next couple days. Looking forward to meeting some new north county reefers, and seeing some old faces as well.

Ok I've been slacking.... but trying to get some stuff done for the meeting. Anyone out there better at graphic design than me want to give a shot at a water parameter cheat sheet. Anthony was kind enough to offer to print some index card sized sheets for the meeting so everyone would get one to take home. My attempt to make something awesome is falling short of my expectations. My graphic design skills don't live up to the vision i have in my head. Im not happy with the lettering in my chart. I guess making it in excel and importing it into the graphic software was a bad idea.

Any opinion on what size you guys would like? 3x5, 4x6, 5x8? I personally think a 3x5 would be great because I could put it with the other cards in my red sea test kit.
