Thank You seaArt ...We are still looking for host and it doesn't have to be now we are firming up the meetings for the rest of the year, with one host and an alternate ( just in case )so i you would like to be placed on the host list i will gladly do so ...then you can pick the month you would be ready to host along with the other hosts we have already.

Everybody please keep in mind...you do not need to be a member of SDMAS/SDR in order to participate in any of our get togethers. You are welcome to host as well. Some of the best meetings we have are the ones where we get together at a fellow reefer's house and just chat about reef stuff. Its so great to be able to put a face to the name and share information with each other. SDMAS is everybody's club and we want everyone to feel welcome to participate.

Side note...this thread should probably get moved out of the Equipment forum.

Very well put Dave... We are all about the hobby and everyone is welcome from beginner to expert and all in between and like Dave said anyone can host or attend.

Glad we are working on getting this rolling again. I am working on getting us more sponsors for our raffles . And also i think we should get back on track on having speakers for the meetings also.

Good to know that about the sponsors and the raffle. ..the speakers may take a little bit more ....there is a cost to getting them here and putting them up once they arrive and most have a fee for speaking to the groups ...

I've offered my place before and it's still open to use.

My house and property are pretty big, so we wouldn't have to worry about too many people showing up, and I have a couple horse shoe Pitts and a bbq to keep Everyone entertained.even have a pool if anyone has kids

Contact admin they charge $25 for a year or come to our next meeting and we can sing you up
