      encrusting rock for trade

I have a big encrusting rock that has slowly been losing the redish purple crust growing on it. (Im sure there is a technical name for what its called but i dont know it.)

Rather than waiting to see if it gets better and risking it getting worse...im thinking to trade it so that it has a better chance in someone else tank.

Rock is as big as my open hand. Let me know if you are interested.

I'll trade for a rock roughly the same size full of fuzzy green mushrooms. I have a post on this thread. Also have a good size purple cup coral I'm willing to trade

Not coraline it's fuzzy encrusting some type of sps. Zoom picture it's clear it's some type of hard coral I think.

+1, needs to be dipped ASAP as it's losing flesh. Do you have other sps?

Its not SPS. Similar to gsp. Its a star polyp of some sort. I cant think of the name off the top of my head. Very invasive and will choke out your sps corals if left unchecked. Although it is pretty.

It could be purple pavona but looks more like star polyps to me. Ive seen them in blue and purple. I could be wrong.

Yeah, its not coralline. Ha ha. Its a little fuzzy.

I do have a small piece of red monti, and a small piece of rainbow monti...both of those are doing fine but for some reason this one isnt looking so good lately.

So should i dip it for the meantime? I have someone interested and waiting to hear back but want to do what i can.
