Ive' always wanted a parrot fish but they aren't good reef inhabitants so Vets Pets had this little guy that has been a great addition at about $40 bucks, seems to need a big tank as he swims laps all day in my 300. Fun to watch, great colors and so far no coral flipping.



at times he flashes a deep yellow across his body too for short bursts and seems uninterested in in chasing other fish too. Wish I could capture a better pciture or when he is yellow but he never stops swimming.

Check out quoy's parrotfish. They are reef safe.

looked them up look like a princess parrot really and same price.. 150-250 but might be up for one if LA gets a healthy one
