      Camel cowfish looking horrible.....

So we recently picked up a camel cowfish from a local fish store and right after adding him to the tank we noticed white spots on his fins so that was a red flag right away. We put him in a hospital tank and have been doing daily water changes as well as adding nitrofuracin as recommended by said fish store. He still seems to be on a downward slope and hasn't eaten in 4 days now. If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.
We have a sponge filter air stone running in there as well to try and add oxygen for him but like I said he's getting worse every day.... I will post up pics shortly

Getting him to eat is priority. What do you feed? I can't for the life of me remember the brand name, but there is a pellet food with investable praziquantel. If you can get him to eat, that would help with infections. In regards to normal food, try adding a drop of garlic extract. Sometimes triggers the feeding.

I have a cannister filter with a built in uv that I'll bring tomorrow. I'm just not sure that its ich that he has? I do know that uv helps with ich but is that what you guys think he has? Never had to deal with ich in any of my personal tanks before (knocks on wood). This tank is at my shop in Clairmont mesa.

That's why we are doing daily water changes on the hospital tank.

Yesterday we went and bought garlic guard, selcon concentrate, and melafix. We gave him a fresh water bath for 5 min did a water change and added the melafix. We tried to feed him as well adding the garlic and selcon but he still refuses to eat including trying to hand feed him.

UV will kill more than just ich
I think the cleanest water without spikes of constant water changes would help more with meds cycling through body

oh yes Fresh water dip him 5 mins first to flush flukes parasites out into separate bucket
