      Calling all knowledgeable surfers

So, because I'm an awesome dad my son has offered to take us both on a once in a lifetime surf trip to anywhere I want to go! Looking for suggestions.
I need to consider that I'm goofy & he's regular foot so my favorite, tavarua is out as it is pretty much only lefts.
Looking for tropical spot with lefts & rights. I'm pretty familiar with spots around the world & looking for somewhere I might not have thought of. Fiji & Indo are out cuz I've surfed both already. Where would you go?

East cost of Australia isn't much different than our great state so that's out. West & south Oz are a bit to gnarly & cold.
Hawaii, been there done that. Too much stress for a vacation.

Stressful as in having to battle pros & locals for every wave!

Dude, I have the answer you are looking for.
Nicaragua. Maybe another Central American spot? El Salvador? Costa Rica?
Clean empty waves, not a huge language barrier, rights and lefts, warm water, cheap beer, fresh seafood...

If I was going for epic surf and low crowds it would be Nicaragua or El Salvador

Didn't think it would be long before I heard from you. I think we have it whittled down to Costa Rica for a week or a 10 day cruise through the Maldives.

I'm not a great surfer...but I was just down in Jaco, Costa Rica in Feb. Jaco had some decent waves, but Playa Hermona to the South got some good waves. Costa is a great place without the waves as well, especially if you love the outdoors.
