      Question Love my tank

So I am new to the site but I have had a fresh water tank for 2 years, started with a 3 gallon then worked my way up. I now have a new 72 gallon bow front tank the my buddies at work talked me into turning into a salt water tank. I'm pretty excited and have slowly been getting what I need. I have the tank with overflow and the stand set, here is where the first problem is, I got an acrylic sump for it but didn't realize that after I ordered it, it needs to be put together. I have put a lot of money into my tank as it is and still have to get more things, I have never worked with acrylic so I will get to my point.

Is there anyone here who knows how to put it together right? I have the books and all the pieces.

Will pay with beer if that's cool.

Acrylic is pretty easy. I use weldon 3 since it sets faster. Are all the pieces pre-cut? Never heard of buying a sump like that before. Feel free to pm me if you have any other questions.

Ok that's cool. Yeah I would just get some Weldon 3 to out it together. Tack the corners down first then run a bead along the seams, inside and out. Make sure the edges are polished and smooth too. Weldon works better the smoother and cleaner the surfaces are

Mandango, do you have a link to where you got it from? Really curious about this, may be a good option for me down the road.

That sounds very cool. Pics would be sweet. Also would like to know where you got it. Putting it together is the easy part cutting everything is the headache.

I can never get my cuts as smooth as the folks at ridout. They use a CNC to route the acrylic and a table saw just can't match that. Usually ends up meaning a lot of sanding for me.

Hey wacks! you think you guys can bring back the policy where you don't weigh the scrap bin pieces? I loved it when I would walk in with a good sized piece and the guys at the counter would only charge me $2.
