What kind of light for a 40b breeder setup?

So I've been going back and forth about lighting for my new tank and I still haven't found a solution. Does anyone have any recommendations? It's going to be a mixed reef tank with about half a dozen small fish in it. I would really like to see my corals flourish. Ideas? I know the new AI Primes just came out too. :frustrated:

I like the typical "120-165w" chinese LEDs. If you remove the optics and do your rockwork right they will cover a 40b nicely. The new AI Prime looks decent too, and the Kessils look great.

Thanks guys. I ordered a cree fixture from ocreef.com but they're jerking me around and lying to me. So needless to say I still don't have a light and I'm out almost $400. Looking for other options, thanks for the input.

Chinabox come on guys If you have a High-range light meter
      it barely registers on it

If your have the budget buy the best
If your budget is minimal go with Orbit marine LED lighting
I get excellent coral growth on my main display @ home
a few clients have these with great result's that were on budgets
I get amazing spec readings compared to high end Radion comparisons charts and statistics

Not sure what your talking about. They have quiet a bit of PAR. 500+ surface and about 100 at the sand depending on your aquarium depth. That is using an Apogee quantum PAR meter. They're are many members on here that use china box Leds such as reef breeders and have amazing tanks.

Chinaboxes are extremely cost effective. Only point I was trying to make. Good luck dude. Interested in seeing your ocreef fixture. I'll have to look it up

Picked up a light from FreshSaltH2o, I'm pretty stoked. Finally some life to the tank! Ocreef.com did some shady stuff so I'm attempting to gets full refund. Sucks because I read they were good lights.

Don't worry I got it covered. Had to turn it up to get this par at 8" below water surface.
