      Thanks guys.
I use a couple so Im not sure which is what. Nikon d80 & d7000 & gh1. 1968 MF Minolta Macro mostly, some times with MD doubler, '70's nikon 55 micro sometimes w doubler. Had a tamron 90mm AF macro, but the old glass was better looking IMO.
The GH1 is cool cuz you can adapt any lens and it's a smaller(4/3) sensor so you start with 1.5x magnification, then doubler. drawback its not as light sensitive. Grain at about 800asa.

Jaso, very nice photos. Have you ever used these for macro shots? http://www.amazon.com/Fotodiox-Exten.../dp/B003Y5T464

I have some but it's a pain to try and get a good focus.

Yes they are a pain in the assssk. Got mine out a few months ago to try them again and then put them on ebay. They make your lens a fixed focus lens. So you have to move the camera not the focus barrel(same with "close up lens filter"). Some love them, me, no.
      Im a control freak.
Look on your lens for the close focus mark, on a true macro its around 1.5 inches, on a "kit" Lens its near 2 feet. On a zoom lens "With macro" its around 1.5 to 2 feet but has more magnification. Best is a macro lens. Hello ebay.
for your phone a macro attachment that is focus-able (see extension tubes).
What camera 7 Lens are you using.

Ya those tubes aren't great at all.
I use a d7000 w/ uwa lens (for landscapes) and sometimes use a 50 1.8 prime. I wish I still had the kit lens. It used to focus pretty close. Not like a macro but close.
I was using the 50mm with the tunes btw.
