      Waveline pumps

I was at your store and you guys had a small display showing one of the Waveline pumps w/a sign stating that you need the correct type fittings so it will work correctly. Can you put in the display the fittings you guys are talking about.

I have the DC 6000 pump and summer is coming up so I am looking for the fitting that goes on the inlet.

Pictures and correct fittings properly labeled for the pumps will be helpful, unfortunately one of your employes did not know what I was looking for. Maybe I am over thinking it,

      Thanks in advance

Ok thanks I hooked up the pump and yes it is very quiet but I am having problems with the 1'' return on the pump. It seems to leak, I have the coupling tighten it to the point I am afraid that I will break something. Any ideas?

Are you using fitting that came with the waveline or regular PVC? Are you running the pump internal or external?

Wavelines do not use standard NPT threads and standard NPT PVC threads like we or Home Depot sell will not create a water tight seal.

If you are running the pump externally and using the proper fittings that come with the pump use blue 75 pipe sealant by Spears on the threads and it should work perfectly.

No I am not using the fittings that came with the pump. I went to Ace and got the fittings, I am running the pump externally, Do you sell the correct fittings that I can convert to PVC ? without tubing in between. Thanks again

We do not carry extra fittings. You should be able to use the NPT threaded parts a long as you use thread sealant.
