Monti cap bleach come back

Can a bleached monti cap come back to its original color? Original color was green. It bleached and given to me by a friend. Now it turn darken brown after in my tank for 2 weeks.

If you are using LED, try dimming it down or move it lower close to the sand

Ok..I see it looks pretty close to hammer..it might be just irritating or getting stung by the hammer
