Thank you! I have a lot of plans for it, really excited to see it mature over time and really grow out.

Couple of macro shots. Tank is doing well, just need that Damn Devils hand to open up and I'll be happy. Water is a little cloudy since I just moved some stuff around. It's also near impossible to get a good shot of that angel.

So I've been doing some reading about filtration and I am debating on a couple of things and would love any input from you guys. Currently I am running the AC70 with some filter sponge, purigen, and chemipure. Works pretty damn well, but I want to obtain clearer water. No major issues with algae, so I'm not so concerned in that regard, just simply want even more clear water. I've read people say to ditch the AC70 and instead get a HOB Skimmer, but my experience has been water changes work just as well? Or do I convert the AC70 into a refugium? OR is there a better combo of stuff to run in the back of the AC70? What do you guys think?

Thanks man. Ideally, I would want to do one or another to keep the tank looking as sleek as possible. Don't want a ton of **** hanging off the back, ya know?

Slowly but surely, the leather is starting to come around. My clown goby died, no idea why, my guess is he wasn't eating which seems common place among these fish so I may replace him with a yasha goby or something, something small none the less. Anyhow, here's a look at the tank.

What's up all. Been a minute since I have said hello or posted, and lots have happened. Last time we spoke my tank broke out with brooklynella and although I was able to set up a hospital tank and move my fish over to start treatment, none of them survived. Lost my clown, cherub, and tailspot blenny...totally bummed me out but I got over it and now my tank had been running fallow since June 1. With that said, the tank had been FLOURISHING with life. Corals are growing quickly, shrimp and other inverts are doing great and pods, pods everywhere! It's actually been a lot of fun watching the tank mature in such a way, but I am excited to put some fish in there again in a few weeks. (I plan on running fallow for 12 weeks) I just cleaned the tank, but here are some pre clean, dirty tank shots. My Devils hand seems to love dirtier water...

Thanks. Yeah losing fish is part of the game I suppose. Things are establishing quite well and like everything in reefing, I've learned a ton from what happened. In some ways it's a blessing because I can do a bit more planning into the next fish I put in here.
