Never thought about the fish seeing there reflection... There's going to be several tangs in here so I will probably scrap that idea. What is everyone's thoughts on introducing a 6" purple with a 2"atlantic blue?

Not sure about the tangs but i am positive the mirror will cause fish to constantly attack themselves. I have used that trick to distract fish while introducing new ones to the tank and aggressive fish will spend all day fighting with their reflections until their face is all beat up from ramming the glass.
So I haven't done anything new but I did get my first new fish put on hold today. A bariene tang (black spot tang) was very surprised to see this tang (hard to find) should be picking it up Monday if all goes well then in qt during the rest of the build. It will motivate me to get it done sooner to get this guy in there. I also picked up/orderwd a bunch of plumbing for the build. Will be ordering some mars led full spectrum 165w dimmable x3 in the next day or 2.
Ok so I had to replace the end panel of glass which was done today. I'm going to give it a week and then reseal the entire inside of the tank as well. I haven't ordered my lights yet. But I got a bunch of plumbing parts a calcium reactor and co2 tank. I need to buy the regulator for it yet. My sump is in a vinegar bath at the moment with the skimmer, powerheads, a quiet one return pump, calcium reactor. In about an hour I'm going to place everything in the stand for placement. I have a 55 gallon acrylic tank I'm going to make it my ato and fuge.
So I resealed the entire tank Sunday. Gonna water test it soon. Am collecting corals for the upgrade already. Got a couple sps and a couple zoas. The best/ highest end I've bought so far are these..... STRATOSPHERES... 2 POLYPS....
Looking good! If I were you though, I would permanently attach two of the panels on the stand one lengthwise and one width wise, because you don't have very much sheer strength to minimize twisting. It's a beefy stand but I would be worried about earthquakes
Gonna water test this bad boy tonight/tomorrow morning. How long should the test be before I call it good?
Where did you pick up the strats from?
Reefers garage.
From what I have read and recall, 48 hours under optimal conditions it should be cured and ready to hold H2o.
You will be using fresh water for the test, just in case?
Oh stress test.
I will clarify I have waited a week for the silicone to cure (longer then it probably needs too) I was talking about leak testing using freshwater. To make sure all seems are structually Sound and doesn't leak?
Alright she's full. Moved the stand and tank out for stress/leak test. I'm gonna leave it all week full and see what happens.
