      Angry Tunzee Osmolator 3155

I have a Nano Osmolator on my pico and was very impressed with it so i ordered the 3155 for my 90. Since my 90 is not up and running it is on my 34 and so far have not been very happy with it. Set it up with my Apex to turn off when pump is off for feeding, maintenance, water changes, ect. when it powers on it dumps a ton of DI water in the tank. It filled a 16oz coffee cup. I guess that is due to the way the pump self primes. 16oz in a big tank is no big deal but this is a 34 gallon solana 16oz plus evap everyday will not keep the consistency that I am looking for. The 2 instruction books in 6 different languages were not much help. <----I hate Tunze for that. It has be running for a couple weeks now and like clockwork every three days it overfills and the alarm sounds. So is there a jumper setting for smaller tanks? How does the red potentiometer work? There is nothing in the instructions about a potentiometer. Any advice would be appreciated

i know not really a helpful answer, but just leave it on instead of turning it off for every feeding. Maybe put a piece of tape over the buzzer so the overfull alarm isn't so loud. I don't notice mine turn on when it gets power, but honestly I've never looked. Mine is connected to my apex as well and turns off for feed cycle, but it is located out in my garage, and there is close to 200 gallons of water so i wouldn't even see 16oz raise my water level.

I also have Tunze 3155 for my 90 gallon. What i end up doing is unplug the two wires from the pump, let the Tunze does it thing until green light is on (level), then plug in the wires.

According to BRS review, Tunze has 10 second extra fill after water already level. A red knob is for adjusting this extra time. Turn it down for smaller tank so it will be less than 10 second.
