      My 60g mixed reef

Hey guys my name is Jose and I stay in the Chula Vista area. I have been an SDREEFS member for a few months. I have been in this fun, addicting, hobby for a year in a half and not looking to get out of it anytime soon. I started a 55g tank for my daughter(5yr old) who wanted to have a lil nemo after watching the movie. I thought it would be a fun to create a reef of our own, so we did. Some of you fellow reefers wanted to see my tank so hear are some pics I took this morning.. will be adding more later..
Thanks for all your help and hook ups fellow reefers! lol

*Working on setting up a sump. - any suggestions..?

Nice set up buddy...... I like the rock work.......how big is the area under the tank........ A 20g long might work for you,but like mention above bigger is better, eventually you will upgrade and you can still use the sump.......looking good so far .... Keep the pics coming......

Chronzze - Thanks bro. I changed the set up so many times in the past but I am finally satisfied with how the rock work looks like right now. The frogspawn I got from you was a perfect addition, my lil tear drop clown hosted it right away. Zoas looking good too. As for the sump yea a 20g would do for my size tank but I just like to have equipment design for a bigger tank size than mine that way I have less problems with bad algae, nit..
But yea I will keep posting pics with updates.

Solid coralline algae in the glass good sign of a healthy established reef. Good Job!
