Hello SDR,
I had an idea. I have recently taken a whack at keeping one of these tricky corals, a dendronephthya or carnation coral. They are notorious in the hobby for requiring heavy feeding with clean, stable water.
Anyways, I was wondering if maybe 4-5 individuals (including myself though as the judge I won't be part of the actual 'contest') would want to buy in and see if we can keep these animals alive and possibly grow them.
I can get these with some frequency and buy-in would be roughly $40-$50 for a nice large specimen with some sort of prize at the end for the healthiest specimen after maybe 6 months? I will work out the details if I get enough interest. Buy-In would be through Aquatic Warehouse, where I work.
Anyone interested....?
