Looking for branching blue/purple macroalgae
It's not branching, but I'm working on having some Blue Scroll (Padina sp.) available for y'all in a few weeks.
Cool stuff, never liked it until I saw it in person, from the top:
I'm looking for Hypnea Pannosa but people that have it don't want to sell it.
[QUOTE=knightnsd;917245] Definitely! Let me work on my growout for this and I'll letcha know when I've got enough. If you can spare even a clipping of the Dragon's Breath that I think? you have, I'd be super interested. I just got a handful of it shipped to me, but it didn't survive even though it was only in the mail for a day and a half. :/
nope not dragon breath, nemastoma sp, wont see it much and far different, purple body red branches and orange tips. odd algae grows decent if not eaten and is slippery as anything and almost feels bubbly. http://www.reefsanctuary.com/forums/...algae-pic.html grew in months after live rock and tank was up before being eaten by tangs, then I caged the remainder and have been growing it out. P M when you can trade. I fragged a lot of it and am trying to glue or anchor to rocks, it slips right out of the glue half the time or rubber bands I try anchoring with until it attaches, VERY SLOW to attach.
