      Is this enough light?

      do you guys think this light

      sure.. for just about

      anything or too much for other things. It is too much $$ fo what you are getting though. There are better things out there. What are you looking to keep?

      i look at their stuff sometimes. I know odessea is made in China from jebo. I've heard a lot of bad things about thier flourecents like their actinic is not real, it's painted. and the light bulbs flicker. I'd rather shell out some more money and get something made in the US.

      i just bought a 305w 36" halide light and it works great, don't know too much about actinics, but my bulbs are white when off and blue when on. my opinion worth the $245. good rule of thumb u roughly want about 5watts per gallon, more is better than less.

      Odyssey lights

      I am running Odyssey lights on my tank. No flicker problems. I do not know how true are the actinics, it really does not matter as the MH bulb is 20,000K. My corals love it. Can't beat the price.

      I like my jebo light. The anctinics might not be "real" but my corals and I like it. The 4X55W was like 75 bucks after shipping and i was suspiciuos about that, but broak at the same time and bought it anyway.

      186W total. I will be selling mine soon(few weeks) as I am moving everything to a 50g tank. Yes it has a magnetic ballast.
