      Off to a decent start

      I'm moderately happy with the aquascaping for now. So here it is. Off to a pretty good start. It's been running for a week now.
      60x24x18 visio glass Peninsula shallow reef with herbie overflow.
      Radion XR30 Gen 3 LEDs
      Reef octopus skimmer w/ Diablo dc5500s DC pump
      Jebao DC12000 return pump
      60 Gallon sump /refugium
      tlf phosban reactor 150 w/carbon
      Neptune apex w/ PM2, WXM, breakout box for ATO switches
      vertex libra dosing system
      3 part tropic marin balling method

      Dave, I'm still on the fence with the black sand too. It takes away that natural look but I can't go back now lol.

      Nice set up Frank, I like black sand over bare-bottom any day. Nice work on the aquascape, going to be cool once that starts getting filled up.

      Really nice, live the scape and all the attention to detail in the sump area! Never thought of painting my plumbing, that's kinda cool!
