Hopefully that works and you figure out issue. What are you using to test water?

Torches, frogspawns, octos, and some hammer don't like to be move around IMO....if you moved it to another tank or location be aware you will lose a couple of heads...... When I replace my pump with a jebao.....I lost 7 huge purple tip frogspawns from different colony, different location.....I would place the torch or frogspawns in a med flow, med light and leave it alone for a couple of months....it will die or live then..... Hope this helps ....good luck. Also I will never do a freshwater dip on any of those type of corals...... Haven't really read Thur the whole thread yet...... Just my opinion
so Be it.....threateN no moRe....to secuRe pEace is to prepaRe foR waR.........so Be it....sEttle the scoRe...touch me agaiN for the woRdzZz that you"ll hear evermoRe....
