I rarely come out on top as far as loot goes. The higher guys have an even harder time. I do it for the war stars. I've got plenty of loot and more coming in all the time.

Your town hall level is deceiving. With your current troop lvls you should be hitting high level th7 to low level th8. Get those dragons up to lvl 3 and you can leave the th7 bases behind.

Also, try to wait it out as long as you can for the lower guys to use up their attacks. Once they are done you have a good idea of what needs to be taken care of.

I'm trying to decide if it would be better if you got more or less loot depending on how many stars you get on the base. The higher level guys would have a hard time though because it's really hard to 3 star a th10 base.

I don't care about loot I care about the wins so if I have to hold off til end I'll be a pick up player

I usually use my first attach to 3 star the highest one I can, then the second attack is mop up duty.

But I'm upgrading everything I can nonstop

Yea but the issue is for the clueless such as myself when I started I assumed....


TH UPGRADE =MORE DEF/TROOPS/OFFENSE ETC. OVERALL BETTER!

REALISTICALLY=ALL OF THE ABOVE+HARDER OPPENENTS/LESS RAIDING LOOT/HARDER TO MAX AND UPGRADE ANYTHING DUE TO LACK OF EASIER RAIDING AND BEING AN EASY TARGET

You're doing great and your base is starting to look awesome, just takes more work. Every member in the clan has come a long way since we started it. It's almost a completely different group.
