      Ca reactor help needed

I recently acquired a schuran pico ca reactor. After many head scratching hours I finally got it dialed in for the most part. I have a simple question. The needle valve on my regulator is sticky...I think...I dial in the bubble count to 1-3 a second but then come back an hour later and it's 1 bubble per 5-10 seconds. Is this the needle valve or something I messed up in the plumbing. Effluent is 50 drops a min and around 6.6 6.8 ph. Depending on what the bubbles are doing. The input is from an aqua lifter and has a valve dialed down to about half speed. Effluent is not regulated. All plumbing is 1/4 inch rigid tubing and effluent is normal air line flex tubing. Could that be the problem? Let me know. Thanks guys!

I figured it out. Everything is running perfect now. The needle valve was garbage. Picked up a different style from Marshalls hardware for 12 bux. Direct air line tap. Works perfect. Dialing down now as alk is in the 11's. No burnt tips yet. Slowed the effluent to 40 drops and added a ball valve . Things are stabilizing.
