      Stringy slime

I woke up this morning and notice a lot of stringy slimy things floating all over my tank. Don't know what it is. Can anyone help?

No it's clear mucus looking. Very stringy.

My puffer develops a clearish whitish slim sometimes. It comes off and flows through the water, occasionally a fish will eat it. I doubt this helps but I figured it might help ease your concern.

      Stringy slime

Unfortunately I've found that stuff when I've lost a fish over night and it's started breaking down. Everything still accounted for?

Yes all residents are alive and well. Looks like it might be coming from the Monti colony. Something is really pissing it off. Just did a wc and running carbon.

That's good that all residents are accounted for, is another coral really close to the monti?

Yeah I have huge frogspawn right next to it but. They have been that way for a long time. The only thing I did different was yesterday I added some seachem calcium supplement since my levels were a little low.

Hey John. Tank is doing much better. Did water change and have been running carbon. The slim cleared up and tank is looking pristine. Although I did lose my coral banded shrimp in the fight. Thanks for checking in. Merry Christmas man.
