Thanks man. Nothing like it was, but it's coming back. I took a break from buying lately so stuff is just growing. Might need to break up these big colonies and recycle some rock, i don't know. It's had so many problems, i think i finally just got back in check.

Thank you, it sure has been a struggle. Just last week this thing was plagued with hair algae on like every frag plug and rock. I had a kole tang who died for some reason and i couldn't find him. So i had to hit the tank hard. Cleanup up crew, lettuce nudi, sea hare, lawnmower blenny and peroxide dips. It's like night and day now, but i gotta watch the critters so they don't starve.

Bumping tank threads and I think the warm scripps water brought in a little extra food. Ive see a bunch right now.
Yeah hard to say for me. I had a fish die i couldn't find before he was consumed. My scripps is stored and collected so who knows when i got my current water...i stock about 100 gals at a time, last time was two weeks ago so the algae was there before then, and it's not in my other display which uses same water.
I've gotten in the habit of dosing a little po4 solution when i water change, but over the years, i would say scripps tanks have more macro algae types that grow on rock. Turf stuff usually, but the appropriate amount of tangs keeps it looking ok.
