I love the colored plumbing idea. So many people neglect the part of the system that is underneath. I chose to make mine super clean and white. Adding the color is another cool way to add something unique to a setup. Will it be visible when everything is done? That would be cool to see.

Thanks Ron! I'm back in the hobby now that I bought a house and this will be a permanent setup. I remember talking to you and Joseph about John at Advance Acrylics. He does great work and I'm happy with the results.

Mainly SPS with some LPS. We love the neighborhood here and just fortunate enough to have bought a house last year.

Thanks Dave! My idea of a show tank involves everything from top to bottom including the filtration and plumbing. It won't be visible once the stand is complete so it's purely cosmetic and personal preference. I know one thing though, I won't have to redo my plumbing later on

A couple of updates from the past few days now that I'm recovered from the Chargers loss

      1. Leak test completed. I drained the tank and cleaned it with RO/DI water.
      2. Finished installing the wood panel for all my electronic components.
      3. Finished painting the stand.
      4. Filled the tank with RO/DI water and mixed with Tropic Marin Pro Salt.
      5. Received the Reef Octopus Elite 220.

What's up Roel?! I was just talking to Ron about you and he told me about your new tank setup so I wanted to take a look. Real nice job on the plumbing! Also glad John took care of you with the sump! What kind of lighting are you gonna go with?
