Does anyone out there have a UniQuarium?

I bought a used Clear for Life wet/dry filter UniQuarium and now I'm not so sure that it was a good idea. I'm new to this hobby and trying to learn as fast as I can. I bought a couple of books, read many things online and I've talked to some very "smart" people. My goal is to have an aquarium with nice live rocks, some easy to manage soft corals and pretty fish that get along with each other. I've owned my tank for about a month and it still doesn't have any water in it. I'm not trying to become a professional, but I don't want to crash my tank either. When I read things in this forum, I hear about sump pumps and protein skimmers - but I don't have either of those in my setup.
Can anyone give me advice about my UniQuarium?

Welcome to reefing, you do freshwater before or this your intro? How many gallon tank is it? Lighting to be used?

UniQuariums aren't all bad, the back is your "sump" and you can always have a skimmer that fits in there or just a hang on back skimmer. You can kinda be limited with space in the back -depending on tank size- but they can be cool if you want a clean tank over a open stand. I've had a couple over the years and have liked them.

As with a lot in the hobby, it's up to you what you get from it. There might be a lot to learn but start slow and ask questions and things will fall in place. This is a great community here! This among others are great resources too with a lot of good info and real life experience.
