The white (yellow) tang might be stressed out and is pale. Actually a lot of tangs and other fish become pale white in color at night when the lights are out for a period of time. There color comes back when the lights come on in there routine of light cycles.
The tang may also be having nutrition issues.

Um....no sir!!! I have been in this hobby for more than 24+ years, and this fish was kept in this 500 gallon tank for well over 8 months and only grew in size...it is a Leucistic White tang. If you notice in the video, the Purple Tang is forcing itself to try to turn white as are the other tangs in the video (the purple tang was most noticeable). This all happened right after we put the white tang into the tank, once the aggressions died down, all the fish went back to eating and within a week the white tang was part of "the crew." Also, if you notice, all of the fish in that tank are proportioned perfectly, look extremely healthy, and did you notice all the food flying around in the video (this was to distract the other fish during the acclimation process). So no, the white tang did not turn pure white due to stress, this is its original color. One more thing, this video was recorded during the daytime, during business hours, with AI blue sol led lights on...hence the blue coloration on some of the corals.
very cool, thanks for sharing. Beautiful Achilles as well
Thanks....we fed the entire tank with 2 full sheets of nori per day and they received a healthy feeding every morning and every evening of Hikari Mysis with Selcon, and we used a variety of other foods throughout the week to give some variety. This tank was only 2 years old when this video was recorded and started with frags...most of the corals in the tank were the size of a small dinner plate or bigger, so they tank was maturing very nicely upon placing the white tang in the tank. There were over 75 fish in the tank, including a dozen tangs present during this introduction of the white tang. The Achilles tang was the "boss" of the tank!
Have you seen Casper from Vivid Aquariums? I think its Vivid or it may be WWC
Yes I have seen Casper in person at World Wide....met Victor (one of the owners) when I was on vacation in Orlando and picked up some real gems....great vendor to buy from if you have never tried them.
I'm afraid to ask how much was the price tag on this gem.
Beautiful gem.
The wholesaler was asking $5k...picked it up for a little less than that.
Very nice
I am drooling !!!!.. freaking awesome !
