Mixing 2 brands of salt for water change

I don't mix but I was just wondering:

Can you mix 2 brands of salt for water change?

If you're short on salt or switching over and salinity is at desired level I don't see why not if properly mixed. I mixed tropic marin with tropic marin pro reef to switch over gradually. Same brand but differences in elements.

One thing to consider is stability of water chemistry, when changes happen in the water (swinging parameters) puts stress on corals, invertebrates, and fish.
Now you can mix salts thats not a problem, if you are mixing the same amount every time you change your water time over time it ok. Matching the new saltwater with the alk/Ca/mag and temperature and salinity of your tank helps reduce stress on your livestock, bacteria and so on.
The best looking tanks ive seen are one that the parameters stay consistent.

Just depends on what their specs are on trace elements if your going to have a big swing or a noticeable one just best to go and buy the right one and hold off water change for another day

In the past I used Tropic Marine and at least back then (5+ years) it was not compatible with Instant Ocean. It caused precipitation. I don't know why. If you mix make sure there is no precipitation, otherwise it should be fine.
