T5 HO lighting system -reduced for quick sale - $70 - Del Mar/Solana Beach area

This is a 36 inch system in a reflective aluminum fixture to maximize brightness. It was custom made by Catalina Aquariums and attaches to the underside of a wooden hood. Original cost was about $275.

It will accommodate 8 bulbs which can operate on different timers (4 for white and 4 for actinic). There are moonlights in the center on a separate dimmer switch. Is it more like a t5 retro kit? Or all built into a housing? I have a 6 foot tank so just wondering if I could modify it to have two sets of 4.

The fixtures are on an aluminum plate about 36 inch by 15 inch. That is all the housing there is - very thin. Not sure what you mean by retro. It will fit any hood where you can screw it in. I had it custom made for my hood, so I suppose you could say it was retro. Why dont you text me at 858.610.4747 and I will shoot you a pic. Thanks.
