Could be true, but this coral is not going to be the easiest to grow out. At least my frag produces very little slime which usually is not a good sign. I am hoping for the best. Pictures are coming when I am starting to feel OK about this one.

Ill Just take the W now lol. My baby frag is doing good started to encrust over glue and kept its color. knock on wood I did dip in revive for about 8 mins.

Hey, What kind of lights are you running over this coral? How long have you had it? I just put a couple more LED's over mine and I'm out of town for a couple days. Scares me a little to hear from others that this is a more sensitive coral. I do have a small backup piece that's under less light but I sure don't want to lose the one I have.

Im running the ocean revive d120 led full spec white 35% blue/Color 75%. I started with the frag on the sand bed then slowly raised it to the top of the tank and is doing well so far it seems to have turned a darker green. Had it in the tank now for 24 days.

Cool. My setup is custom, but similar in design. Are you feeding anything to the coral(s)? I use Reef Frenzy on occasion for my acans, and just started using Reef Roids every couple of days. I need to take some time lapse pictures every week so I can actually see comparisons as to whether or not I'm getting growth. Hope so :-). I'll feel a lot better when I start to see my plug and glue encrusting.

I do feed my lps pro variety and and dose amnio acids for sps and they love it. Im trying to keep it simple as possible. that's the only way I know its growing is by encrusting.

I didn't dip mine. Lost it and a colony of surf and turf due to an alk swing or too much Gfo when I changed my cannister
