Lmao that's funny! 48" tank? What was it 8' high?

I have one on a 400 gallon tank. Lights it just fine but won't grow coral obviously. I don't get why that's so funny.

Nope, was 12" above, worked great... "Hahaha" so funny. Just because you're told something has to be a certain way doesn't make it so. Try experimenting a time or two, might discover something for yourself.

Lots of thread hijacking happening lately, let's stick to the pertinent topic of this guys lights for sale, my original comment was to help inform a potential buyer, let's not have a bunch of useless comments in other peoples threads.

Use funny Pauly. Enjoy the hobby the way you want. I have a single unit over a 75 semi cube right now, works wonderfully, that's my personal tank at home. No sell, my own personal enjoyment and choice and works for me. To each his own, but ur comments are USELESS on this thread, so thanks for your input, as I've told others before if you'd like to continue this discussion feel free to pm or text me and I'll be more than happy to oblige. Thanks buddy.

A single unit over a 75 is WAY different than a 120w over a 400 gallon tank... What r u not getting here?

My op said I had a single Chinese 120w fixture over a standard 55g, which is 48"L, I said to keep corals that need more light directly under the light and lower light level corals on the shadier edges if desired. I've done this personally so I know it works. You questioned that. Then another poster mentioned having one over his 400g and specifically said wasn't enough to grow coral so that's irrelevant in that instance. reading comprehension. And what are the dimensions of this 66g cube cuz they can't be larger than my 75g semi cube, so my point being one fixture over that is enough, why wouldn't one fixture over a 66g work. Maybe different type of lights and an AI can't cover that much area, I can't comment on that. So I'm sorry I'm causing people to ask you questions because of my sell sell sell mentality.

I have it simply for lighting the tank. I have a FOWLR so it works perfectly fine for me. So if someone is pondering if they should buy this to place over their large tank simply for light, not growing corals, then know that it will work. GLWS to the OP.
