Did you get the colony the way it looked in the first pic, or did it take a turn for the worse in your tank and then you brought it back? Either way, awesome job. I want to know what you did.

Yes I bought it bleached out. The first pic is the day I picked up the colony. The second picture is how it looks today. The key to SPS is stability in the system along with lighting. I have a good sized fuge and I am running chemipure blue. I picked up a calcium reactor and it made a world of difference.
The big three of the parameters are as follows:

Alk: 8.5
Cal: 425
Mag: 1325-1350

I never have checked anything else as far as parameters go. I don't think it is necessary.
